Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni Distributes Christmas Food Basket.
Yobe State Governor, His Excellency Hon. Mai Mala Buni directed Yobe State Emergency Management Agency to support Vulnerable Christian Households with Food Basket ahead of Christmas.
The Executive Secretary of SEMA who led the distribution exercise today 22nd December 2020, while wishing all Christians a peaceful celebration call on them as directed by the Governor to pray for peace to continue in the state and also be their brothers keepers.
The ES SEMA noted that with Covid-19 associated challenges globally, in Nigeria and worse in conflict affected communities, the this gesture is timely.
On behalf of the beneficiaries Catchiest Fidelis Katang and Emmanuel Degubi thank Governor Buni for this timely support, they further assured the governor that they will continue being Law abiding and peace loving citizens, thy will pray for the state and the country for peace.
