Yobe SEMA in collaboration with UNDP-JICA trains community members of Tandari and Kukuri, CSOs, LG Staff, others on strengthening communication & coordination between LGAs and communities for social cohesion.

 

Yesterday, being 22nd January, 2024, the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) led by Dr. Mohammed Goje conducted a training/workshop on strengthening communication & coordination between LGAs and communities for social cohesion to 30 community members of Tandari & Kukuri in Potiskum and Nangere, CSOs, LG Staff, others as parts of the agency’s efforts to harness all available measures to propel resilience of communities in peace building processes.

 

The training, conducted in Potiskum town aimed at improving the communication skills of community members/participants and coordination with local government authority with the idea that an effective communication is an essential for resolving conflicts, promoting understanding and building among members of community.
