About 150 Yobe Indigenes who flee the state at the peak of crisis of the NSAGs to Niger Republic have returned home and were recieved in Degeltura Yunusari LGA.
Degeltura has been displaced for over 10 years and partially inaccessible until now when peace has returned.
Yobe State Government delegation through MHADM, offcie of the SSG and Security Adviser to the Governor have been in the forefront of bringing them home and ensuring they are united with their families.
Yobe SEMA as directed by His Excellency is providing periodic support to all Refugees, IDPs Vulnerable persons and other POCs in Campsnor transit locations. The support is in terms of Food and NFI depending on needs and availability of resources.
500 PLWD recieved Ramadan Basket
In another timely response to suppport PLWD, SEMA supported over 500 PLWD sleected by leadership of the network from 17 LGA with ramadan Basket. Each beneficiary goes home with a token of 2 cartons of Dangote Combo Pack aimed at supporting them during this Ramadan period.
