SD3R Project



UN agencies form Consortium (IOM, UNDP, UNICEF, UNODC) to implement EU Funded support for the Disengagement, Review, Reintegration, and Reconciliation of Persons Formerly Associated with NSAGsNorth-East Nigeria SD3R Project


This SD3R is a 36-month project,it will build on the achievements and lessons learned identified in the previous EU founded project for Reconciliation and Reintegration of Former Armed Non-state Combatants and Associates (S2R)


The objective of the project is to

Improve community-driven reintegration and reconciliation of former armed non-state combatants and Boko Haram associates in Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa, including those who were forcibly displaced.


Another key take away from the meeting is the opportunity to implement Education in Disaster project, which will complement Government effort in rebuilding education due to aged long conflict.


The Consortium visited Yobe and had an interactive session with line MDAs and later paid a courtesy call to His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON for entry meeting and applauded YBSG effort in success recorded during S2R implementation and as well the enabling environment provided
