President of the 9th Senate, Donates 25 Million Naira to Flood Victims in his Constituency

As the response to Flood victims continues, more stakeholders and political leaders continue to key in with personal donations, this will go along way in complementing existing response and bring succor to the affected households

The President of the 9th Senate Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan PhD GCON has extended significant cash assistance to communities affected by the recent floods, particularly in Nguru and Karasuwa LGA under his Constituency which has experienced more severe flooding than other areas.

Financial Assistance Provided:

Nguru: ₦20,000,000
Karasuwa: ₦5,000,000

This and many effort especially at times of emergencies aligns with the efforts made by the Yobe State Government through the Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to mitigate the impact of the floods and provide timely relief to affected communities.
