The ongoing interventions complements earlier support provided by the state which included CASH 4 RENT assistance and Non-Food Items (NFIs) for the affected families.
During the distribution exercise, the ES of YoSEMA Dr Goje Mohammed commends ACF for this and many responses and further appreciates other humanitarian partners for their continued commitment to support the victims thereby complementing government initiatives.
ES called on the beneficiaries to make good use of the items provided to improve their living conditions and restore dignity after the devastating flood and assured all registered victims that Government will intensify resource mobilization process to deliver aid timely.
This joint effort demonstrates the strong partnership between government and humanitarian actors in responding to the needs of affected communities and building resilience among displaced households.
The community leaders have shown their gratitude to the government for coming to their aid at a time when they needed help the most.
