Over 750 Female Headed Households, Widows and the Elderly recieved Food Basket as SEMA continues supporting Vulnerable population across the state.

About 750 registered Vulnerable Households in Pompomari community of Damaturu LGA today 17th March 2023 benefited from the ongoing Food basket Support by SEMA. This is aimed at closing gaps associated with Early Lean period due to poor harvest and 2022 flooding.
The Beneficiaries who went home each with Food basket and condiments appreciated Government effort and call on SEMA to support victims who are yet to return to thier homes destroyed by flood with cash stimulus or building materials.
The Executive Secretary SEMA assured the target population that this response will continue across the state and is aimed at closing the food insecurity gaps created with early lean period.
