The Executive Secretary SEMA and emergency response ambassadors in Gashua have continued to distribute meals to Geidam’s displaced people. Having identified the challenges faced by the displaced people, Yobe state government and other individual as well as international partners have been distributing three square meals to the displaced.
While the hardship and burden of having to abruptly leave the comfort of their homes cannot be completely eliminated, a “zero hunger” scheme initiated by SEMA helps to quench the thirst and hunger of the vulnerable with a view to aiding their smooth integration into the host community.
We thank our partners for their amazing support during this trying times.
