Over 500 Households mostly women, Elderly and Youths were today 27th February 2022 supported with Food, Non Food Items and Empowerment Kits. This support followed earlier assessment conducted by SEMA based on reports recieved from community, security and LGA on the need to build their resilience by supporting them with food items and concurrently empowering some with start up kits based on existing trade. The response is expected to support local economy of the returnees as well as provide succour to the elderly.
Each beneficiary goes home with a food basket, NFIs , Wrappers and as well selected beneficiary in addition go home with Grinding Machine, Welding Machine, Vulcanizers Machine, Clippers for Barbers amongst other kits. Additionally cash stipend for transportation were also given to each beneficiary
