The situation calls for concern across board, it is sympathetic, especially when victims narate last history of similar incidence dating 50 to 70 years back or none in their life time.
SEMA wish to commend the tireless effort of Bade Emirate Council, Chief Imam Bade Central Mosque, CBOs in Bade, Volunteers, and above all the Chairmen of Bade and Jakusko who stood ground and supported embankment and resolved alot of communal crisis that maight arouse due to rerouting of the water.
Government noticed with concern and great sympathy how some communities have to sacrifice a part of thier neighbourhood just for the water to exit thier towns. A holistic assessment will continue simulteneouly providing imediate recommendations while mid and long term solution are followed up religiously.
The resilience amongst rural communities in safeguarding and ensuring Embankment are secured through this trying times despite losing homes, Farmlands and livestock is highly commendable.
