On 12th September 2022 through SEMA partners support component, 150 registered and validated Flood Victims were supported with Building Materials and Higiene Kits by Action Against Hunger (AAH), Nigeria Yobe Office.

The Support is through the AAH Rapid Response Mechanism aimed at supporting disaster victims and complementing Government effort and closing gaps especially with the high magnitude of flooding overstretching available resources this year.

The Executive Secretary of SEMA commended AAH for this and many other support since the unfortunate incidents of disaster from May 2022 to Date. AAH has been a key partner in complementing and ensuring synergy with SEMA and in responding to the plight of victims and the displaced.

This years Flood coming with higher casualty could have been more challenging without the Support of AAH and other Partners, ES SEMA called on victims to use the items given to them for the intended purpose.

Mr Jimmy Rubben who represented AAH in Kukar Gadu thank Yobe State Government for providing them the enabling environment and for the continued synergy and good working relationship over time.

  4. Woods

Higiene Kits containing

  1. Soap Detergents
  2. Sanitary kits
  3. Kettle
  4. Aquatabs
  5. Water Basin
  6. 20liter Jericans
