About 24,000 Yobe State 2022 Flood victims to benefit from Special Intervention.

His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni CON approves immediate commencement of validation/verification of registered 2022 flood victims ahead of SNELEI intervention in the state.
SNELEI a Special National Economic Livelihood Emergency Intervention approved by the FGN to support the long-term recovery from 2022 flood disaster.

The support is in form of Food and NFI, rehabilitation inputs, livelihood support tools and crops seedlings which will be distributed directly to the victims to build socioeconomic resilience.

The Support which is implemented by NEMA/SEMA is PREDICATED on numbers of persons affected by 2022 flood and classified as MOST VULNERABLE.

Validation has since commenced across the LGA.
