3rd Lake Chad basin Governors Forum Meeting

Technical focal persons from 8 Lake chad basin state met at N’Djamena for a preparatory roundtable technical meeting to prepare the forum ahead of upcoming third meeting of the Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum for regional cooperation on stabilisation, Peace-building and Sustainable development.

About 50 technical persons including governors representatives, partners and MN JTF are currently attending the 3 days meeting from 7 to 11 December 2020. The 3rd LCBG forum meeting is expected to come up early in 2021.

In attendance from the BAY states are Ambassador Adamu Abbas Special Adviser on External affairs to Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum and Hajiya Yabawa Kolo, Executive Secretary SEMA from Borno. Elijah Tumba the Honourable commissioner Ministry of RRR&HS and Dr Amin Suleiman Executive Secretary SEMA from Adamawa State while Dr Abubakar G Iliya Honourable Commissioner MHADM and Dr Goje Mohammed Executive Secretary SEMA from Yobe
